Two of the three oboe concertos from Handel included in this set may not be quite on the same level as the best of Vivaldi's or Albinoni's, but still make for very pleasant if not rewarding listening. The B flat concerto is a real gem though, with a third movement that's a masterpiece and a sprightly allegro winding things up.
