The Language Teaching Centre (Sprachlehrinstitut - SLI) is part of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Freiburg, which was founded in 1457 and includes 11 faculties. Die Sektion Deutsch als Fremdsprache bietet jedes Semester Kurse auf allen Niveaus des Europäischen Referenzrahmens an, von A1 (Anfängerniveau) bis C2 (muttersprachenähnliche Fertigkeiten).
